My dear lgbt+ kids,
You have a purpose.
This does not necessarily mean that you are destined to cure cancer. If that’s what you feel called to, then pursue it, I believe in you! But “purpose” doesn’t need to be something that will go down in history books or make big headlines.
It also doesn’t mean that you need to know your purpose right now. That you need to wake up every morning with a big smile on your lips and ready to run towards your big destiny.
What it does mean is simply this: There’s a place for you in this world. You deserve to exist. Your existence matters.
There is a lot waiting for you in this life. Memories you have yet to make, people you have yet to meet. Hey, maybe simply food you have yet to taste and movies you have yet to watch and dogs you have yet to pet.
You’re part of this big puzzle called life and every puzzle piece matters.
With all my love,
Your Tumblr Mom
